The first part of the Decalogue’s second commandment states: Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth below, or that is in the water beneath the earth. The sanctuaries of Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy are filled with graven images representing heaven above and earth below. One will not find a graven image of anything that is in the water under the earth.

Conceivably, one half of one third of one of the Ten Commandments remains to be broken.
