Abstract painting and Sculpture have been almost replaced by abstract
experience, rendering them less necessary, or necessary more as sanctuary.

Under-charged mediums like drawing, copying, taken objects, and
manipulated photos tend to be quieter, provisional and tentative.  One can
imagine gaining something at the risk of losing something else.

Working with these mediums in long series allows me access to an idea
obliquely, and simply, until what's left is insoluble.

Meaning, if it attaches itself here does so lightly, interchangeably, and
perhaps cumulatively.
